This weekend I attended a Fall Fest sponsored by the student association at the Harding School of Theology. The only reason the attendees didn’t fight to the death over this last piece of apple pie was was because everyone there was either a graduate student, gainfully employed, (or both) and no one had any spare years to spend in prison. This was the closest thing to my mother’s homemade apple pie that I’ve ever eaten. Apples had a very slight crunch to them, the cinnamon, sugar, and butter topping was just perfect, and the crust was a thing of beauty. Excuse me, but I seem to be salivating on my keyboard.
On another note, I’ve got a couple of ideas for articles that I want to work on very soon. They’re percolating now 🙂
Also, Siren came out in the last issue of Christian Woman magazine, and there will be another piece in the Nov/Dec issue. Yay! They have been wonderful to me, accepting several articles over the years.
