We love going to New Orleans in July. The summer air is sweet and heavy, nearly tropical, and the rain comes often. There are artists and fortune-tellers all around Jackson Square, church bells chime, musicians play, and the days are lazy and long. Phil, Keith, and I went down for one last hurrah before school begins again. We ate everything New Orleans: praline, beignets, muffalettas, red beans & rice, alligator sausage, jambalaya, and gumbo. No crawfish though. I have my boundaries. Here are a few shots. To see the rest, go to my Shutterfly site.
